The Poetry Center is offering a Residency Program opportunity for a poet to spend two to four weeks in Tucson, Arizona developing his/her work. All writers at any stage of their writing career are welcome. The residency includes a $150 stipend per week and a two-to-four-week stay in a studio apartment located within steps of the Center’s renowned library of contemporary poetry.

Guidelines


  • Candidates should submit a typed poetry manuscript totaling no more than ten pages. Your name and/or contact information SHOULD NOT be included on your manuscript or in the title of your submission.
  • File formats accepted are DOC, DOCX, PDF, and RTF files.
  • CV or references at this stage are not required. Should your manuscript be selected as a winner or runner up, these items will be requested.

Prize

Two-to-four-week stay in a studio apartment and a $150 stipend per week.
