Zymbol Magazine is accepting submissions of works inspired by Symbolism and Surrealism for their 2014 Spring/Summer issue: Exploration of radicalism, deviancy and surrealism. Outsider thinking and artistic expression. The Magazine accepts works in art and graphic storytelling, poetry, fiction, memoir and essays.

Guidelines

art and graphic storytelling

Works of visual art and graphic storytelling in .jpg, .pdf or .tiff format should be sent to:
editor@zymbolmag.com
with the subject line “A/G SUBMISSION.”
Files should be under 10 mb.

poetry

Authors can send up to 5 poems per submission. Works should be in .doc or .docx files written in 12-point Times New Roman font, single-spaced. Zymbol will consider work previously self-published or posted to a personal blog.

Poems can be submitted and through the submission manager, here you can also check the status of your submissions. 


fiction, memoir and essays

Works should be in .doc or .docx files written in 12-point Times New Roman font, single-spaced.

Submissions under 7,000 words are given preference over longer works; however, the editors will consider works of exceptional merit up to 10,000 words. Simultaneous submissions are fine and Zymbol will consider work previously self-published or posted to a personal blog.
