Description

Quirk Books' "Looking For Love" Fiction Contest is open to all professional and amateur writers worldwide. They accept novel-length manuscripts featuring love stories. As long as the stories are exceptionally original, fun and fresh, anything goes. Except vampire stories! The award is great.

Guidelines

Writers may submit only one manuscript for this contest. Here are the rules:

1. It has to be written in English language. 
2. At least 50,000 words.
3. Must feature a love story.
4. The manuscript must be neatly typed, double-spaced with the pages numbered. 
5. Author's name should appear only on the title page of the manuscript and nowhere else inside. 
6. A synopsis of no more than 250 words.
7. An application form, signed and completed.

Prize

First prize is $10,000 AND publication by Quirk Books.
